Seri Phisut Campaigns at Wang Lang Market: Pledges No More Gray Zone Figures if Elected Prime Minister

Seri Phisut, prime ministerial candidate of the Seri Ruam Thai Party, campaigned to support candidates in the Wang Lang Market area, promoting the policy "No Corruption, No Gray Zones, No Shadow Affiliations." He urged voters to punish vote-buyers and vowed that if elected prime minister, the country would no longer have gray zone figures.

On 10 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Police General Seri Phisut Temiyavet, leader of the Seri Ruam Thai Party and prime ministerial candidate, campaigned at Wang Lang Market in Bangkok Noi District, Bangkok. He introduced Anantadej Thanwipharat, candidate for Bangkok's 33rd constituency, and urged voters to support the Seri Ruam Thai Party’s party-list candidates to enable him to serve as prime minister under the policy "No Corruption, No Gray Zones, No Shadow Affiliations."

The Seri Ruam Thai Party leader stated that having formerly been the national police chief, when comparing the qualifications of other parties' prime ministerial candidates, the country is currently plagued by corruption and gray zone influences across nearly every sector. He questioned whether other party leaders have experience fighting corruption as he does. Recently, the Ministers of Justice and Digital Economy and Society announced arrests of former MPs and 10 candidates involved in drug trafficking. These individuals’ party affiliations are unknown, as new arrests of candidates from various parties for similar charges occurred over the New Year.

"It raises questions about how those parties select and take responsibility for their candidates. If such people become MPs, what will happen to the country? Residents of Bangkok Noi should consider this carefully. Our party thoroughly vets candidates to work for the people and the nation according to party policies. Voters can have full confidence in our candidates in constituency 33."

The party leader said that in 2019, media reported that some parties invited him to join the government, offering him the deputy prime minister post overseeing the police and hundreds of millions of baht. He emphasized he declined, stating repeatedly that he would not join a government that perpetuates power and attempts to bribe him. He declared he refuses to associate with such individuals, as joining would mean collaborating with corrupt officials who exploit the country. Now, gray zone parties and candidates have reappeared. Can this be tolerated? Democracy cannot function when money buys votes and seats through gray money. The public must punish these actors and not allow them to succeed. He assured voters to trust the Seri Ruam Thai Party.

The Seri Ruam Thai Party leader expressed confidence that if elected prime minister after 8 Feb, the country will be free of gray zone influences, because he will rigorously implement the party's campaign policies. During his police service, he prosecuted numerous corruption and political corruption cases, sending many politicians to prison. Therefore, he urged voters to fully trust him and the party’s commitment to "No Corruption, No Gray Zones." Anyone who cheats will face the Seri Ruam Thai Party and be jailed. He called on voters to cast ballots for the party's candidates in both constituency and party-list ballots.
