New Opportunity Party Campaigns in Don Mueang, Promotes Elderly Welfare and 3-Year Debt Freeze Policy

Dr. Anusri campaigned to support the New Opportunity Party's Don Mueang MP candidate, promoting the party’s policy of early childhood English education alongside elderly welfare and a 3-year debt freeze to secure the future of Thai people.

On 10 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Dr. Anusri Thapsuwan, Deputy Leader of the New Opportunity Party, together with Kanoknuch Klinsang, candidate for Bangkok’s Don Mueang district No. 9, visited Sirisuk community to meet residents on National Children's Day and participated in creative activities with children and their families.

Dr. Anusri discussed education policies focusing on enhancing Thai children's English proficiency from early childhood to boost global competitiveness. She noted that much modern knowledge, including artificial intelligence (AI) technology, relies on English as a key foundation, and a good early base allows efficient learning in other areas.

The group then joined the New Year merit-making event at the Burapha 12 Elderly Club. Dr. Anusri outlined the party’s elderly policies such as increasing living allowances, supporting senior employment, and promoting community-level caregiver training to ease family burdens and reduce cases where children quit jobs to care for elderly relatives.

Moreover, the party emphasizes promoting activities that help seniors maintain good health, social engagement, and sustainable quality of life.

Kanoknuch Klinsang, Don Mueang MP candidate, spoke about the "3-year debt freeze" policy, which aims to give people a chance to stabilize their lives without the burden of debt and credit bureau issues hindering their future. She affirmed her commitment to advancing policies that concretely address the needs of Don Mueang residents across all age groups.
