Yotsanan Tours and Walks the Market to Support Theerarats Campaign in Lat Krabang, Confident of Retaining Seat

Yotsanan toured by boat and walked through the market campaigning in Lat Krabang to support Theerarat, confident of retaining the incumbent seat. He highlighted a comprehensive water management policy and accepted the NIDA poll results showing him trailing competitors, promising to use the feedback for improvement.

At 08:00 on 11 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, led a delegation to Lat Krabang Temple to campaign for Ms. Theerarat Samsewanich, candidate for Bangkok MP, constituency 20, (Lat Krabang district excluding Lam Pla Thio subdistrict). Yotsanan led the group to pay respects to sacred figures for good fortune before boarding three boats to campaign along the Prawet Burirom canal toward Hua Takhe Market.

Along the canal route, he sought votes from residents living by the canal, promoting a comprehensive water management policy to prevent flooding and boost tourism. The public greeted him with waves and cheers along the canal banks. Upon reaching Hua Takhe Market, Yotsanan met with people in the market; futsal players from Pornpitthayapayat School and residents waited to cheer and present flowers. He then boarded a campaign vehicle to meet voters in Romklao and Ban Ua Arth Romklao 2 areas, where locals welcomed him enthusiastically, shouting encouragement for him to become prime minister.

Later, Yotsanan expressed confidence in retaining the MP seat currently held by Theerarat, saying he was very confident. He noted Theerarat's ongoing community support, including tourism and agriculture projects. Regarding the NIDA poll showing Pheu Thai trailing in popularity for both the prime ministerial candidate and party support, he first pointed out that Matichon and Daily News polls showed Pheu Thai with a significant lead, which boosted morale. He said the party is open to the NIDA poll's different direction, willing to listen to suggestions for improvement, and hopes the public will give them a chance.

When asked if they need to quickly adjust strategy or tactics to gain votes since the 70-30 co-payment policy remains unclear, Yotsanan replied, “Our candidates have started communicating Pheu Thai’s campaign policies, and we adjust each policy based on public feedback from the field. The 70-30 policy aims to keep the economy flowing; it’s not the only policy. To move the country forward, we must take care of everyone at all levels and ensure the country’s stability and credibility internationally.” ."
