Peerapun campaigned in Bangkok's districts 15 and 13 to support Ruam Thai Sang Chart party MP candidates, urging voters to choose both the candidates and the party. He emphasized continuing the mission for the people by lowering energy prices, declaring he would not be influenced by gray capital or seek positions, while promoting a platform based on six key principles.
11 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Peerapun Salirutwiboon, leader of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart party (RTSC) and prime ministerial candidate, along with Ms. Chanyapatch Thanachotisawat, candidate for Member of Parliament (MP) for Bangkok's 15th electoral district (Khan Na Yao-Bueng Kum, Khlong Kum subdistrict) from Ruam Thai Sang Chart, visited Boonniyom Santiasok Market and the morning market at Cooperative Village to meet residents of Khan Na Yao-Bueng Kum. The atmosphere was lively, with many people welcoming them, offering encouragement, taking photos, and inquiring about the party's economic solutions.
Mr. Peerapun stated that Ruam Thai Sang Chart's main policy focuses on reducing living costs for the public. The party aims to reduce gasoline and diesel prices to 25 baht per liter and cap electricity costs at no more than 3.30 baht per unit. They also propose addressing student loan debt by allowing debtors to work in exchange for repayment, reforming education to allow university admission without exams, and increasing welfare allowances for seniors and disabled people to 1,500 baht uniformly. On security and tech-related crime, the party commits to decisively tackling gray capital groups and scammers by constructing a prison in the sea, alongside plans to promote the defense industry to create jobs and develop indigenous technology for Thailand.
Later, Mr. Peerapun paid respects to Phra Somnoei Buddha Chantasettho, known as Than Chan, at Santiasok Monastery. He discussed the party's policies with Buddhist followers gathered to listen to the Dhamma, emphasizing that his candidacy is not for personal gain but to continue unfinished policies for the benefit of the people. The six major policies presented offer no personal advantage to him. Despite heavy criticism last year for opposing certain vested interests, he remains undeterred and will continue leading Ruam Thai Sang Chart without concern for gray capital. He urged Thai citizens to consider supporting the party in the upcoming MP election.
Subsequently, Mr. Peerapun and Mr. Krit Krueacharoenporn, MP candidate for Bangkok's 13th electoral district (Lat Phrao-Bueng Kum), toured the area to meet residents amid a lively atmosphere. Mr. Peerapun greeted people via loudspeaker, expressing his determination to return to public service and care for the country again. He highlighted the party's key policy addressing the current energy price crisis affecting living costs, underscoring achievements over the past two years in making electricity, fuel, and gas more affordable. He pledged that if entrusted with votes, he would improve prices further.
At the same time, Mr. Peerapun encouraged citizens to exercise their voting rights on 8 February, asking for support for both the candidates and the party. Many residents came out to welcome and support him, saying they have followed his work for a long time and urge him to continue fighting for the people.
