Anutin Leads Bhumjaithai Team at Chatuchak Market, Buys Clothes and Shoes Before Taking BTS to Campaign Among Youth at Siam Square One

Anutin led the Bhumjaithai party team through Chatuchak Market, seeking support from Bangkok residents by buying shirts and shoes from vendors before taking the BTS to campaign among youth at Siam Square One.

At 12:20 p.m. on 11 Jan 2026, at the Or Tor Kor Market, Bhumjaithai Party leader and Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, also the party's prime ministerial candidate, walked from Or Tor Kor Market to Chatuchak Weekend Market. His wife, Ms. Thanon Niramit, joined him. The atmosphere was lively; along the way, they greeted vendors and the public. Many tourists and locals showed interest, asking for selfies, and shouted cheers urging Anutin to become prime minister again.

While walking through the market, Anutin purchased a pair of black leather shoes made by a Thai brand, paying 2,490 baht by scanning the payment himself. He immediately changed into the new shoes to continue walking. He said this period requires effort. He also bought a white shirt with blue floral patterns and shorts, then removed his Bhumjaithai party jacket to wear the new floral shirt due to the hot weather.

Anutin and other senior Bhumjaithai leaders spent nearly two hours at Chatuchak Market before proceeding to the Mo Chit BTS station. Along the way, they stopped to take photos with election campaign signs for the New Opportunity Party. Anutin said, "I'll send these to P'Tum, Jatuporn Buranapat, leader of the New Opportunity Party, to see."

When asked whether taking photos with the New Opportunity Party's sign indicated a coalition government, Anutin did not answer. He then led the group to board the BTS to continue to Siam Square One.
