Thammanat Campaigns for 4 Glatham Party Candidates in Pathum Thani, Emphasizes Genuine Local Representation

Thammanat launched a campaign in Pathum Thani to seek votes and support four Glatham Party candidates. He paid respects at sacred sites and toured the old market, where residents voiced concerns about livelihoods, water issues, rice, and the cost of living. He emphasized that the party's candidates are locals who will genuinely work for the community.

On 11 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, Chairman of the Glatham Party Advisory Board and prime ministerial candidate, visited Pathum Thani province to support the party’s four candidates for Member of Parliament: Mr. Nopporn Khawkhum in District 1, Mr. Chayut Sinpoonphak in District 4, Miss Airin Panrit in District 5, and Miss Patchisa Pachirathareerut in District 6, as they campaigned for election.

Lt. Col. Thammanat paid respects to sacred sites at Wat Buakhao Kaset and to Luang Pho Dam, a revered Buddha statue and a symbol of Lat Lum Kaeo community, seeking blessings. He then met and spoke with local residents before visiting Ra Raeng 100-Year Market, an old market and key economic area of the district. Thammanat and the candidates greeted vendors and citizens along the way. Many people asked for photos, gave flowers as encouragement, and shared concerns about livelihoods, the economy, and living costs.

Later, Lt. Col. Thammanat said in an interview that this was the first day of campaigning in Pathum Thani. He asked local residents to give the Glatham Party’s candidates a chance to serve and solve local problems, especially major water issues during droughts and floods, which directly affect dry-season rice farming and farmers’ livelihoods. He also emphasized sustainable solutions for rice production since most residents in Pathum Thani rely on agriculture. The Glatham Party aims to address issues related to rice and other agricultural products. Regarding competitors, he expressed no concern, noting that the party has carefully selected genuine local candidates who understand the problems and are truly ready to serve the people, not merely campaign seasonally.

In the afternoon, Lt. Col. Thammanat visited Rangsit and Ladsawai markets to support the candidates for Districts 4 and 6. In the evening, he spoke at a major rally near the Nathon Market in front of the Makro store to support Miss Airin Panrit, the candidate for District 5. The campaign atmosphere was lively, with vendors greeting, shaking hands, chatting, and taking photos with Thammanat and the candidates. Some offered food and drinks. Several vendors expressed concerns about living costs, rising input prices, and raw material costs, while consumers’ purchasing power declined. Thammanat listened attentively and stressed that the Glatham Party will bring these grassroots economic concerns forward to seek solutions for improvement.
