Anutin Rides BTS to Siam, Leads Bhumjaithai Campaign Crowds Take Photos, Continues to Yaowarat

Anutin, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, took the BTS Skytrain to Siam, leading the 2026 election campaign team. Crowds flocked to take photos. He then proceeded to Yaowarat, praying at Leng Nei Yi Temple for the country's peace and the happiness of its people, expressing confidence in leading the polls.

At 14:00 on 11 Jan 2026, Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, along with Ekniti Nititandprapas, Supajee Sutamphan, Sihasak Puangketkaew, Supamas Isarapakdee, Sabida Thaiset, and Warawut Silpa-archa, campaigned at Siam Square One. Anutin arrived there by BTS Skytrain, alighting at Siam Station, wearing the same shirt he purchased from Chatuchak Market. Upon arrival, many people asked to take photos, and a man wearing a yellow-blue jacket requested Anutin's autograph on the back of his jacket.

At 14:56, while Anutin was resting, Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, leader of the Palang Rak Chat Party, along with Jes Tonawanik, two prime minister candidates from the party, approached to greet Anutin and the Bhumjaithai leadership, as they were already campaigning in Siam Square and took the opportunity to say hello.

During the campaign, actors Koi Aratchaporn Phokinpakorn, Natty Nantnat Thakadkul, and Dream Apichaya Panitchakul approached Anutin with questionnaires asking for opinions on whether a new constitution was needed. When reporters asked them, all three said the prime minister had told them, “It is appropriate to amend the constitution.” After finishing the campaign at Siam Square One, Anutin planned to continue campaigning in the Yaowarat area at around 17:00.

He described the experience as giving him "goosebumps" compared to past campaigns, expressing confidence in leading the polls.

At 16:45, Anutin and his team, including Supajee, Ekniti, Warawut, Saren Charnvirakul (Anutin's son), and Thanon Niramit (known as Ja, Anutin's wife), rode an electric tuk-tuk (license plate SK 1398) to support candidate Lalida Pertvivattana for MP in Constituency 1 (Phra Nakhon–Samphanthawong–Pom Prap Sattru Phai–Dusit). Upon arriving at Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Leng Nei Yi Temple) to pay respects to the temple’s sacred objects, media were not allowed to follow inside to avoid disturbing worshippers. At one point, Anutin spoke in Chinese to an elderly woman praying, saying “San Shi Qi,” meaning 37, which is Bhumjaithai Party’s number.

At 18:00, Anutin and his team walked around shops, taking photos with the public before giving an interview about the day’s campaigning. He said, “I feel grateful to the people who warmly welcomed us and sent their good wishes as we asked for their votes. I sincerely thank them.” Regarding the economic team accompanying him and the apparent public hope for economic improvement, Anutin said he told the people what they planned to do and also listened to what the people wanted them to do more. It felt like working together, incorporating genuine public demands to further develop their plans. Hence, they call it “Bhumjaithai Plus Plus every day. Whatever anyone has, just tell us and we’ll add more.”

When asked if he was confident of securing a lead in Bangkok, Anutin replied that he was confident but ultimately it depends on the people’s judgment and decision, which they will accept. He affirmed that they do not compare themselves to others, but are confident their proposals are backed by competent personnel with proven track records in both government and private sectors.

Asked about the atmosphere of campaigning today compared to the past, Anutin said, “It gave me goosebumps.” “It’s very good. Otherwise, they’ll say I’m crying again.” “We don’t have a final sprint; we run straight ahead—otherwise, we’d crash.” When asked if running straight would lead to victory, Anutin smiled and laughed before answering, “I think we’re leading now.” He then added, “Just now, I prayed for Thailand’s peace and happiness for the people. I am one of them, so I consider that I received the blessing as well.” When asked if he prayed for victory, Anutin said that if Thailand is peaceful, the people are happy and united, and the country gains respect internationally, it means Bhumjaithai must be governing the country. Then, he and his team went on to greet merchants in Yaowarat market.
