Democrat Party Showcases Sustainable Economy to Win Investors’ Trust, Confident in a Safe Country if Elected

"Mark - Korn" persuaded investors by highlighting a sustainable economy to win their trust, declaring that voting for the Democrat Party ensures the country’s safety. They also claimed that the "Khon La Khrueng" (Half-Half) scheme is a development from the earlier "Check Chuay Chat" (Nation Aid Check) program.

On 12 January 2026 at the Silom Complex building, Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party, along with Korn Chatikavanij, two prime ministerial candidates, met with businesspeople and investors to showcase their vision of honest politics and an economic strategy driven by good governance principles.

Abhisit announced his commitment to restoring confidence through his crisis management experience, promoting the idea of improving rather than dismantling existing structures. He emphasized developing the current system steadily instead of launching flashy policies that might threaten stability. He praised the "Khon La Khrueng" policy as an excellent extension of the past "Check Chuay Chat" initiative and stressed that income guarantees for farmers must be precise and honest.

"The Democrat Party is the party that, once chosen, ensures the country's safety. We will tackle corruption, stop shadow capital, and end divisions to lay a solid foundation for Thailand’s steady progress," Abhisit said confidently.

Korn added that the success of "Strong Thailand," an innovative recovery plan from the global Hamburger Crisis, widely recognized around the world, is embedded in the party’s main 27-point policy framework based on four pillars, aiming to restore the economy and capital markets to strength and sustainability.
