"Wiroj" campaigns in Bang Bon to support "Palm Chonlatat" in place of "Ice," the local incumbent, and addresses the question "What are soldiers for?" affirming that the people are the true bosses and pledges respect for everyone even when views differ.,
On 12 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn, a party-list candidate for the People's Party, visited the Bang Bon-Chom Thong-Nong Khaem area to assist the People's Party's candidate for Bangkok's District 28 in campaigning. Residents wearing orange shirts greeted and shook his hand throughout the route. Mr. Wiroj emphasized policies to address call center scams, elderly welfare, and support for small SMEs.
Mr. Wiroj responded to the phrase "What are soldiers for?" saying that rather than asking why soldiers exist, the important question is "How are soldiers cared for?" He stressed that especially enlisted soldiers who lose limbs in duty deserve lifelong welfare support. The party is ready to support and assist soldiers who face injustice.
Regarding the party's management team announcement yesterday, Mr. Wiroj said it centers on missions like public sector reform and grassroots economic development, rather than forming a cabinet list based on quotas as before. Regardless of public opinion, he said they must remember that the people are the bosses and respect everyone, whether they agree or disagree.
Ms. Chonlatat Koykul, People's Party candidate for District 28 (Bang Bon–Chom Thong–Nong Khaem), said that despite wearing a cast on her left leg due to an accident, she continues to campaign for the 2026 election. She admitted pressure in defending the stronghold of "Ice" Rakchanok Srinok but affirmed that the People's Party never takes voters for granted. She is moving forward with surveys on public transport and bedridden patients locally, aiming for a landslide victory capturing all 33 Bangkok MP seats.
