On 12 January 2026, at Bueng Kata community market, Than Chanuan subdistrict, Manorom district, Chainat province, Anucha Nakhasai, Pheu Thai candidate for MP in Chainat's first district, along with his campaign team, met local residents to promote the party's policy emphasizing raising agricultural product prices, such as rice, to 15,000 baht per ton to support the community.
Anucha revealed that during his visit to Chainat, he presented the party's policy to guarantee a 30% profit margin for agricultural products, aiming to push jasmine rice prices to 15,000 baht per ton and white and sticky rice to 10,000 baht per ton, as well as addressing informal debt, with the goal of transforming Thailand into a high-income country.
He added that the visit was met with strong positive responses from the public, who expressed their readiness to support the party and wished for the continuation of the 30-baht universal healthcare scheme; they also praised the party's prime minister candidate.
