Supachai Reveals 3 Reasons for Joining Bhumjaithai Party, Pledges to Complete Unfinished Mission

Supachai reveals three reasons for deciding to join the Bhumjaithai Party and pledges to gladly help complete the unfinished mission.

On 12 January, Ms. Supachai Suthammanpun, Minister of Commerce from the Bhumjaithai Party, explained her decision to enter politics with the party. First, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul personally called to invite her, assuring full freedom to apply her knowledge and skills to benefit the nation to the fullest, and to support whatever she intends to accomplish.

The second reason concerns teamwork. The principle is that no one can do everything alone, but if we share the same goal and each gives 100 percent in our expertise, it can lead to positive impact. In particular, the close-knit economic team, including Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Akniti Nitithanprapas, Foreign Minister Sihasak Puangketkaew, and Energy Minister Atthapol Rerkpiboon, who come from private and civil service backgrounds, truly work as a team, which gives me confidence and led me to decide to stay and help continue policy work.

The third reason is seeing the commitment to patriotism and sovereignty. I joined during a time of conflict with neighboring countries. The Bhumjaithai Party’s position coincides with my principles: putting the nation and sovereignty first, and focusing on the welfare of the people and soldiers. These three factors convinced me this is the right party for Thailand at this moment, and I want to be part of continuing policies to face these challenges.

“As we all know, Thailand currently faces many challenges. What we need now are leaders who can continuously guide the country through this period. I am confident that if the Bhumjaithai Party is entrusted to govern again, it will enable us to overcome these challenges sustainably and continuously. If the party is trusted by the people to form the government, I am willing to stay and help complete the unfinished mission,” Ms. Supachai said.
