“Yotchanan” leads a Pheu Thai delegation on a tour to hear views from the Thai Chamber of Commerce Council, promoting economic policies to lay the foundation for the country to become a high-income nation and build the economy through science and technology.
At 09:00 on 13 January 2026 at the Thai Chamber of Commerce Council, Mr. Yotchanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai’s prime ministerial candidate, Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Pheu Thai election director and also a prime ministerial candidate, met with Mr. Phot Aramwattanon, chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Council of Thai Chambers of Commerce. They discussed and exchanged views on economic issues and national development. Mr. Yotchanan said that Pheu Thai wants to hear feedback from the public and agencies on whether policies are feasible. This visit includes the full team covering economics, commerce, foreign affairs, and policy advisors, with special focus on entrepreneurs. The party prioritizes education, economy, and politics and sees the necessity of building confidence to attract new investments, clearly laying the foundation that in the next 4 to 8 years, the country must achieve high income and develop a high-value economy driven by science and technology.
