Phetchabun MP Candidate from Prachachon Party Complains of Missing Campaign Sign, Other Partys Sign Replaces It

Ratthabumi Lertpaijit, a Phetchabun MP candidate from the Prachachon Party, lamented that his campaign sign disappeared without a trace. He is confident he can defeat the incumbent champion in this election. He revealed that he has been canvassing by visiting every household to listen to their problems and has received a good response.

On 13 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Ratthabumi Lertpaijit, candidate number 5 for Phetchabun from the Prachachon Party, disclosed that his campaign sign, installed near the intersection behind Phetchabun Hospital, went missing without a trace since 24 Dec 2025 GMT+7. Before installation, he had obtained permission and consulted the landowner, the Sadiang Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO), which granted approval. The SAO also noted that some utility poles might fall under the jurisdiction of the Phetchabun Department of Rural Roads, but officials indicated it was likely allowed during the election campaign period. Neighbors near the site reported that a pickup truck—whose owner, whether private or official, is unknown—removed the sign on 24 Dec 2025 GMT+7. Ratthabumi expressed no grievance and intended to replace the sign. Later that day, his team reported that another party’s candidate’s sign had been placed in its stead. However, Ratthabumi was unbothered and placed his own sign alongside the other candidate’s.

Ratthabumi further revealed that during this period, he has been canvassing daily from early morning by walking and speaking with every household, listening to their problems. He explains and clarifies his party’s policies to residents, correcting misunderstandings where necessary. He has received very positive feedback and is confident that he will unseat the incumbent champion in this election.

The reporter noted that overall in Phetchabun province, only districts 2 and 3 remain highly competitive, especially district 2. Key local figures such as Akkaradej Thongjaissod, the Phetchabun Provincial Administrative Organization president, and Prathin Naksamran, former Sadiang Subdistrict Administrative Organization chief, have mobilized support and held campaign rallies in nearly every subdistrict to back Yupharat Buain, candidate number 4 from the Bhumjaithai Party. He is competing against Jakkarat Phuachua, a former local MP and former teammate who switched to the Kla Party, who also holds campaign rallies almost daily.
