The Election Commission clarified the update of information in the Smart Vote Application, emphasizing that voters can check their eligibility for the MP election and referendum, including polling station details, starting from 14 January.
On 13 January 2026, the Office of the Election Commission (EC) explained that, in response to reports about the Smart Vote Application lacking candidate and electoral district information in some provinces, the EC clarified that data updates in the Smart Vote Application follow legal procedures and timelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and currency. Specifically, electoral district data in four provinces—Samut Sakhon, Pathum Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Lopburi—were corrected and updated as of 11 January 2026.
Regarding the list of candidates for the MP election by constituency, the database will be adjusted according to reports from the constituency election directors for 400 constituencies, indicating whether candidacies have been announced, withdrawn, or removed from the official candidate list, in accordance with the 2018 Organic Act on the Election of Members of the House of Representatives.
Additionally, the constituency election committees for all 400 constituencies will announce polling station assignments and voter registration lists by 13 January 2026. Voters can verify information on the MP election and the referendum using the Smart Vote Application from 14 January 2026 onward.
