Lisa is confident that Sam Chalermpong will smoothly retain his championship seat in Phuket District 2, highlighting his two and a half years of tangible and effective work. She notes that the people of Phuket cannot be bought with money and aims to maintain the orange strongholds across all three districts.
On 14 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Pakamon Hunanun, known as Lisa, a party-list MP candidate for the Prachachon Party, spoke about the lively and confident atmosphere during the morning campaign in Phuket District 2. She campaigned alongside Sam Chalermpong Sangdee (Coach Sam), the Prachachon Party candidate for Phuket District 2, number 6, noting that throughout their route, many people greeted them and clearly remembered Sam’s achievements.
Pakamon said that today's campaigning felt completely different from the 2023 election. This time, they did not come empty-handed but brought a “capital” accumulated over two years and six months from the hard work of the district MP, who never stayed idle. Even as opposition, the local work has never fallen behind anyone else.
"Throughout the time walking with MP Sam, people greeted us about his achievements constantly, including major issues like exposing a foreign drug prescription QR code ring, monitoring the Patong tunnel project, solving sewage problems, as well as daily matters such as reliable water and electricity, and his volunteer spirit in immediately assisting during accidents or disasters. These prove that we have a representative who truly delivers value for taxpayers."
Pakamon emphasized that the capital built from genuine work is far more valuable than the massive sums opponents try to use to stake their claims. She expressed confidence in the dignity of the people of Phuket.
"Phuket people cannot be bought with any amount of money because Phuket is an economic city. If politics is good and the economy thrives, the people themselves can generate substantial income. Handouts of 2,000-3,000 baht are minimal compared to the opportunities they deserve. Therefore, the people of Phuket are not looking for money distributors but representatives who can truly lead Phuket to the future they expect."
Pakamon concluded by saying that after completing their mission in District 2, she would immediately continue campaigning this afternoon in Districts 1 and 3 to unite the candidates across all three districts. She is confident that the Prachachon Party will maintain the Phuket island area, which is "the first area where the Orange Party established a foothold in the South." They will hold on firmly to all three districts because every MP has clear achievements.
"Give us the chance to enter government once, to prove that the policies we conceive and actions we take will transform Phuket with good infrastructure, dignified living, and sustainable growth as a key pillar of the country’s economy."
