Thanathorn continues his campaign in Rayong, supporting 'Teng' as prime minister of a people's government. He affirms that in this election, he will not vote for Bhumjaithai to form the government and does not support Anutin as prime minister. Kritch is confident that Rayong residents will support the People's Party in all districts as usual.
At 15:00 on 14 Jan 2026 GMT+7. Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, Chair of the Progressive Movement and former leader of the Future Forward Party, acting as a campaign aide for the People's Party, visited Sri Muang Park, Mueang District, Rayong Province to help campaign for Kritch Silpachai, People's Party candidate for Member of Parliament in District 2, amid a lively rally attended by over 500 people.
Thanathorn spoke about the importance of this election, urging the public to trust the People's Party and all its candidates, and posed a question to the audience: “Do you regret that last time Pita (Limjaroenrat) was not prime minister, even though the people elected MPs exceeding half the seats?” He then emphasized that this election is different because no senators will vote for prime minister anymore, urging voters to remain steadfast and not be misled by rumors, affirming that “There will be no more votes for Bhumjaithai to form the government, no more votes for Anutin as prime minister.” He called on the public to support the People's Party as their number one party to open the door to a new era of equality and democracy.
During the rally, the crowd continuously cheered and encouraged the speakers; many presented flowers and asked to take photos with Thanathorn and Kritch warmly. Thanathorn also demonstrated voting procedures, explaining that the first green ballot is to mark number 1, the second pink ballot is to select party number 46, and the yellow referendum ballot is to vote 'approve,' together opening the door to a new era of true equality and democracy. The atmosphere was lively with many people cheering, presenting flowers, and taking photos with Thanathorn and the candidates throughout.
After the speech, Thanathorn told reporters that this election is a crucial opportunity to fight for the future once again. He reminded that last time, people overwhelmingly supported the Progressive Movement but were disappointed as senators blocked Pita from becoming prime minister. This time, without the Senate's involvement, he asked for support to make the People's Party number one to form a people's government and nominate Natthapong Ruangpanyawut as prime minister. He declared a commitment to defend their seats in every district and stressed that the People's Party is serious about tackling 'gray capital' issues.
Meanwhile, Kritch expressed confidence in this election, hoping Rayong residents will continue to support the People's Party in all districts as before, noting that his campaigning has been well received by the public consistently.
