Pimpatra spoke candidly on stage after being heavily targeted by shadowy forces over her party switch. She declared that fellow MPs clearly understand and avoid the influence of the "Upside-Down Ghost," and stressed she still respects her seniors and has not burned her old party's bridges.
On 15 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters learned from a close associate of Ms. Pimpatra Wichaikul, candidate for MP of District 9, No. 7, Bhumjaithai Party, who revealed to reporters in detail about the intense, targeted attacks against Pimpatra over her party switch. These attacks have been continuous, especially through IO operations or social media accounts with no verifiable real identities. Some accounts even promote gambling websites while continuously attacking her, alongside spreading defamatory rumors locally through certain groups.
On the night of 14 Jan, Pimpatra held a small public speech at the Klai Intersection Market, Klai Subdistrict, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat, where she openly addressed a large local audience. At one point, she spoke about the ongoing defamation, saying that until now she had never spoken about switching from her original party, where she had been for a long time. She then explained the reason for switching, mentioning the presence of the "Upside-Down Ghost," a figure whose power some do not recognize and who remain in place.
"But personally and for many others, we had to leave for a place with dignity and honor, not allowing anyone to oppress us, because the people choose representatives, not servants to someone else. Due to the nature of the Upside-Down Ghost, we had to leave. Until now, I have never told supporters locally. This time, I must say it. Since leaving, I have never burned my old house or caused damage. Afterwards, I joined Uncle Tu along with many fellow MPs, gaining opportunities to manage important national work and create benefits locally. When Uncle Tu took on an even more significant role, dozens of fellow MPs sought new pathways and opportunities, deciding together to join Bhumjaithai Party. Yet strangely, why am I the only one targeted?"
However, on the morning of 15 Jan, reporters received further comments from Pimpatra, who said her speech the night before was made out of sheer frustration. She apologized if anyone was offended and said they all know the origins and methods behind the attempts to spread damaging news. She affirmed her love and respect for all seniors, believing they understand well what has happened. Everything has passed, and everyone knows that Pimpatra has never changed. She only chose a path to create opportunities to work for the people. As a representative, the important thing is to have allies, friends, and coordination from all directions to secure work to solve local problems. This is evident and provable.
