Chonnaphat Affirms Innocence, Denies Any Involvement in Illegal Activities

Chonnaphat declared his full readiness to cooperate with the investigation process, affirming he has never been involved in any illegal actions and pledging to focus on working for the people of Songkhla.

On 16 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Chonnaphat Naksua, former Songkhla MP and current candidate for Songkhla constituency 4 representing the Kla Tham Party (KTP), posted a message on Facebook clarifying to the public regarding recent news reports about government agency actions, including those by the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) and the acceptance of the case as a special proceeding by relevant agencies.

I would like to clarify to the public concerning news reports about actions taken by government agencies, both the Anti-Money Laundering Office and related agencies that have accepted the case for consideration as a special investigation.

I would like to state that these actions are part of the legal process to ensure a thorough and comprehensive fact-finding investigation. The case is still under consideration by the court and relevant agencies, with no final verdict yet on any individual's guilt or whether any assets belong to the state.

I sincerely affirm that I have never been involved in any unlawful conduct and am fully prepared to cooperate with all agencies to ensure the investigation is transparent and fair.

While the process is ongoing, I will refrain from commenting on details to avoid affecting the court's and authorities' considerations.

I remain committed to working, listening to issues, and standing alongside the people of Songkhla province, including Krasae Sin, Sathing Phra, Ranot districts, and nearby areas, continuously as before.

I thank everyone for their support and hope that the truth will be revealed through the justice process.
