“Teng Natthapong” got lucky winning two lottery tickets with the last two digits after paying respects to Grandfather Srisuttho and Grandmother Sripathumma in Udon Thani while campaigning to support party candidates.
On the evening of 17 Jan 2026, after the lottery results were announced, reporters reported that Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut, leader of the People's Party (PChon), won the lottery with the last two digits 02. His team confirmed that Mr. Natthapong indeed won with two tickets bearing the last two digits 02.
Reporters noted that Mr. Natthapong bought these numbers while campaigning at Wang Nakinkham Chanod, Ban Wang Thong, Wang Thong Subdistrict, Ban Dung District, Udon Thani, together with Mr. Sakda Katekaew, candidate for Udon Thani Constituency 4 from the People's Party, on 4 Jan. They paid respects to Grandfather Srisuttho and Grandmother Sripathumma before he went to a small lottery booth and picked numbers ending 20 and 02, matching candidate number 2 for Constituency 4, purchasing six tickets before ultimately getting lucky with the two-digit prize announced that evening.
