On 17 Jan 2026, General Prawit Wongsuwan, Advisory Chairman of the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP), along with friends, went to a famous noodle shop in the Theparak–Watcharaphon area for a simple private meal. He greeted members of the public with a warm smile and was friendly with those who asked for selfies. Many expressed happiness at seeing him healthy and lively, offering well wishes for his good health. The atmosphere was warm and cordial.
Some members of the public said that although he has stepped back from his political role, they still feel connected to him and are happy to see him living simply, surrounded by the support of those who came to greet him.
Meanwhile, Pharmacist Nopawan Huaijai Mun, a candidate for MP in Bangkok's district 12 from the PPRP currently campaigning, came to pay respects and seek blessings for encouragement in her work.
General Prawit clearly emphasized that this meal was a private occasion, unrelated to politics or campaigning. He offered encouragement to candidates, urging them to work honestly with the people's interests as their priority, and wished them success in serving their communities.
