Dr. Ae Leads Campaign Team to Support Thai Kao Mai Candidates in Bangkok Districts 26-28, Urges New Generation to Change the Country

Dr. Ae led the team to campaign for Thai Kao Mai party candidates in Bangkok's districts 26-28—Bang Khun Thian, Nong Khaem, and Bang Bon—highlighting solutions to flooding and polluted water, promising 100% student loan debt forgiveness, and calling on the youth to help change the country by voting number 49.

At 07:00 on 18 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Suchatvee Suwannasut, known as Dr. Ae, party leader and Thai Kao Mai's prime ministerial candidate, campaigned to support candidates Mr. Wichian Kantathasap, running for MP in Bangkok's district 26 (Bang Khun Thian-Chom Thong) number 8; Mr. Samart Khumsongtham, candidate for district 27 (Bang Bon-Chom Thong) number 10; and Ms. Tiprampa Withuchulichot, candidate for district 28 (Bang Bon-Nong Khaem) number 6. Accompanied by Mr. Kiti Wongkulap, deputy party leader, they began by paying respects and seeking auspicious blessings at Bang Bon Temple, then met residents at Nong Khaem Temple Market and Phra Pin Ha Market. Weekend shoppers greeted them warmly, offering encouragement and taking photos in a lively, friendly atmosphere. Some vendors even shouted support for Dr. Ae to become prime minister.

Frustration over recurring flooding and polluted water.

At 10:00, Mr. Suchatvee and the team met residents in Bang Khun Thian, Chom Thong, Bang Bon, and Nong Khaem to hear concerns about tidal flooding and coastal erosion. Representatives of aquaculture farmers—shrimp, shellfish, crabs, and fish—as well as members of the Strong-Hearted Monkey Lovers Club shared how these issues impact their livelihoods, income, and local way of life. Mr. Suchatvee said the Nong Khaem-Bang Bon area has long suffered from PM 2.5 dust, repeated flooding, and polluted water without visible improvements. He urged residents to trust Thai Kao Mai's team and the younger generation to seriously tackle flooding, water pollution, and disasters in Bangkok. He emphasized the need for young leaders to help solve the persistent suffering caused by flooding and polluted water in Nong Khaem and Bang Bon. The area faces annual risks from tidal flooding, erosion, and heavy floods, which will worsen without real solutions.

Highlighting full student loan debt forgiveness.

Mr. Suchatvee also discussed economic and social policies addressing household living costs. The party proposes a 20,000-baht loan fund accessible to all freelancers with only an ID card, offering low interest to reduce informal debt. This would help informal workers and delivery riders repair their equipment and sustain their income without resorting to high-interest informal loans. Regarding education, the party promises 100% student loan debt forgiveness and advocates truly free education from basic to master's and doctoral levels. They also support direct financial assistance to parents so families can adequately care for their children. Mr. Suchatvee pledged that if elected prime minister, he would cancel all student loan debts.

Additionally, he vowed to push legislation on public safety, stating that Thai people should not die needlessly from repeated crane collapses or other accidents. If entrusted with governance, he will prosecute substandard construction to protect citizens' lives and restore confidence in Thailand's economy. He requested votes for Thai Kao Mai party candidates, urging voters to choose number 49 to transform Bangkok and the country with new ideas, new people, and serious work.
