18 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Ms. Sirikanya Tansakul, Deputy Leader of the People's Party and Prime Ministerial candidate, visited Nonthaburi province alongside Mr. Surachet Praveenwongwut, People's Party party-list MP candidate, to support Mr. Wutthakorn Nutayakul, candidate for Nonthaburi Constituency 1, and Mr. Kiattikun Tonyang, also known as Lawyer Pong, candidate for Nonthaburi Constituency 7. They received a warm welcome with continuous public encouragement throughout the campaign.
Ms. Sirikanya said that during the campaign, residents voiced economic and livelihood concerns and responded positively to the People's Party's past work, such as advocating for social security pension formula reforms to ensure fairer benefits for insured individuals. They also inquired about party policies, including raising the elderly allowance to 1,000–1,500 baht per month, which aligns with the country’s current fiscal status. She emphasized that she listens to all opinions to further push them as policies of the People's Government.
