Following the royal decree appointing the chairman and commissioners of the NACC dated 30 December 2015, Police General Watcharapol Prasarnrajkit, the chairman of the NACC, retired upon reaching the age of 70, and Ms. Suwana Suwanjutha, a commissioner, left office after completing her term, resulting in vacancies on the commission.
Now, the Senate has approved two qualified and eligible individuals for appointment as NACC commissioners under Article 232 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand. Exercising authority under Article 232 of the Constitution, together with Sections 9 and 14 of the Organic Act on Anti-Corruption B.E. 2561 (2018), therefore, His Majesty has graciously appointed the following as commissioners of the National Anti-Corruption Commission. As follows:
1. Mr. Suchart Suntreekasem as a commissioner of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
2. Mr. Manupan Yotsathasane as a commissioner of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
These appointments are effective immediately.

Simultaneously, the Royal Gazette also publisheda Prime Minister's Office announcement regarding the appointment of officials in the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.It states that His Majesty has graciously commanded that Mr. Surapong Intrathaworn, an official of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, be relieved from the position of Deputy Secretary-General of the NACC, and be appointed as Secretary-General of the National Anti-Corruption Commission. The appointment is effective from 18 January 2026 GMT+7.
