On 19 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that on 15 and 16 Jan, Ms. Sudarat Pitakpornpalop, candidate for Member of Parliament (MP) for Ubon Ratchathani, Constituency 7, representing the Bhumjaithai Party, posted a video clip on her personal TikTok account named "MP Sudarat Pitakpornpalop." The clip showed her participating in an event and distributing water to villagers at one location. Notably, Ms. Sudarat wore a gray jacket embroidered on the left chest with the Prime Minister's Office emblem and the text "Paethongtarn Shinawatra Prime Minister." This jacket belonged to the team during the time when Ms. Paethongtarn served as Prime Minister.
This led many TikTok users to comment and criticize. Some said, "Don't you have Anutin's shirt to wear?", "Not wearing Anutin's shirt?", "Good morning, did you wear Anutin's shirt today?", "Can't come back, wrong decision," "Wow, you changed parties but still wear Prime Minister Paethongtarn's shirt." Meanwhile, others expressed support and encouragement, saying, "Always sending you support," "No matter which party you're in, I'll vote for you because I like you and your genuine actions; you are always my favorite MP." Ms. Sudarat replied to supportive comments with "Thank you." However, the clip is no longer found on Ms. Sudarat's TikTok.
