"Teng-Chor" traveled to Chiang Rai to support party candidates in campaigning, drawing large crowds who welcomed them warmly while promoting policies to eradicate nationality bribery and reduce PM 2.5 dust pollution.
On 20 January 2026, Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut, Prime Minister candidate for the People's Party, teamed up with Ms. Panika Wanich, campaign assistant, to visit Chiang Rai province. They toured various locations including Sinsomboon Market in Chiang Saen district, Thidaporn Market in Mae Chan district, and Ban Du Muang Mai Market. The atmosphere was lively, with locals surrounding them to take photos and offer flowers along the way as encouragement.
Mr. Natthapong revealed that Chiang Rai faces multiple crises, notably the issues of "nationality bribery" and shadow border capital. The party’s policy aims to strengthen centralized efforts to eliminate corruption. Regarding the PM 2.5 problem, the party proposes establishing an air pollution command center and systematically managing heat spots using satellite technology combined with drones (UAVs).
Additionally, the party places importance on the "heavy metal crisis in water sources" after detecting arsenic and mercury levels exceeding standards in several areas. They propose creating a centralized water pollution database with public disclosure of information and securing alternative clean water sources to ensure sustainable well-being for the people of Chiang Rai.
