Sudarat volunteers to block “corrupt officials and politicians who exploit the country,” affirming that the Thai Sang Thai Party is ready to govern. The party pledges to act as a guardian of the budget to protect Thai taxpayers, emphasizing it will not focus on large projects that enable under-the-table corruption but will instead distribute funds directly to the people.
21 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, Prime Ministerial candidate and leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party (TST). She said corruption is the first button to fix; if unresolved, the country cannot move forward. Currently, the nation is in decline because some politicians have stopped consuming ordinary meals and instead consume bricks, stones, cement, and sand—meaning public funds meant for citizens are stolen, amounting to over 500 billion baht annually. Kickbacks from construction projects reach 40%, while dredging water sources sees 60-70% kickbacks, leaving minimal actual work done. When it rains, flooding occurs; in the dry season, water runs out because corruption has destroyed quality, leaving suffering for the people. This is why she is willing to work hard to form Thai Sang Thai to eradicate these extremely corrupt politicians.
"My key mission is to empower citizens by amending the constitution to create an effective anti-corruption framework, not just one written in name only. Thai Sang Thai will propose that 50,000 citizens can immediately sign to impeach politicians, the prime minister, or even independent agencies that act dishonestly. Additionally, we plan to establish a Civil Society Anti-Corruption Commission to involve local people and civil society in monitoring budgets, as they know best where corruption occurs. Importantly, the party has prepared legislation to suspend over 1,000 licenses that obstruct livelihoods, as these licenses are channels for bribery and under-the-table payments, making it difficult for ordinary people to earn a living and increasing their costs simply because they have to pay corrupt officials and politicians."
The Thai Sang Thai leader added that in her over 30 years of work, managing budgets worth trillions of baht, she has never been involved in corruption. This time, she volunteers to act as a budget watchdog for the people by changing the approach: not focusing on large projects that generate kickbacks but injecting budgets directly to citizens, returning every baht of tax money to rebuild their lives. Anyone intending to act as a mole or take bribes in Thai Sang Thai will have no chance because the party operates with ideology and integrity. If people want to see the country change and politics with clean hands, vote for Thai Sang Thai to accomplish this mission.
