Anutin Appeals to Na Wa Residents to Support Kwan Supapanee for Parliament, Promises Half-Half Program as First Priority

Anutin appealed to the people of Na Wa to kindly choose Kwan Supapanee for Parliament, stressing that the 'Half-Half' subsidy would be his first action. He criticized previous cash handouts as ineffective and clearly stated that if Bhumjaithai is elected, there will be no disturbances along the border areas.

On 21 January 2026, Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, arrived at Ban Na Wa School in Na Wa Subdistrict, Na Wa District, Nakhon Phanom Province, to deliver his second campaign speech of the day supporting Miss Supapanee Pho-su, the Bhumjaithai candidate for Nakhon Phanom's 1st constituency. Upon arrival, locals greeted him by tying traditional loincloths around his waist, presenting garlands, and embracing him warmly.

Anutin began his speech by apologizing to the students, as he had just learned the event was held near the school during class time. He noted the school director had given permission and promised to speak quietly to avoid disturbing the children. He then jokingly told Supapanee, “Good Kwan, why didn’t you go elsewhere? You had to hold it at the school.”

Anutin continued, expressing his unwavering love and connection to the people of Nakhon Phanom. He urged them to vote for the Bhumjaithai Party and select someone with experience, knowledge, and a proven track record to serve the community. He emphasized the need to elect the young candidate, Kwan Supapanee Pho-su, to work for them and reminded them not to forget to vote for himself as well, number 37.

He added that closing border checkpoints had improved prices for many agricultural products by blocking smuggled goods. Factory owners welcomed this as prices had previously fallen. The Bhumjaithai Party sees agriculture as vital and intends to maintain this policy while seeking more market opportunities for farmers. Previously, Thailand had been submissive, unwilling to negotiate or assert itself. Now, the country shows it will not tolerate incursions, stating firmly, “I’m not your subordinate.” They protect sovereignty without aggression, never invading or firing first; they only respond to attacks. When they defend themselves, critics call them violent. They refuse to let anyone trample on them and demand respect. If foreigners tell them to stop, they comply, but they expect the same respect from fellow Thais.

Anutin emphasized that the first project to implement will be the 'Half-Half Plus Phase 2' program, which is not a cash handout, as citizens have dignity. Previously, some people could not join the program, so he plans to top up state welfare cards. Past loopholes will be closed to improve satisfaction. These funds stay within the system, unlike cash handouts that can be claimed by creditors as soon as they enter accounts. The 'Half-Half' program requires co-payment by citizens, and the state does not add funds. Creditors cannot claim this money because it must be spent on goods.

He also addressed the resolution of border tensions between Thailand and Cambodia, assuring that national dignity is secure. Although his words might seem confrontational, the situation is now peaceful, with no troublemakers daring to cause issues. If incursions occur, it’s clear Thailand will not tolerate them. This is not about one person but the entire nation's commitment. The greatest regret is the loss of brave soldiers. He stressed that war is not the only option and that unnecessary conflict should be avoided because soldiers are also family members. Thailand is a peace-loving country.

He added that if he were in charge of the country, he would sing the Thai national anthem daily, especially the line, “Thailand loves peace, but is not cowardly in battle.” Decisions cannot be made impulsively. Thailand wants to be left alone, but if attacked, they will respond firmly. He assured that if the Bhumjaithai Party is trusted to continue governing, there will be no incidents along the border, and conditions will improve for Thais. The dignity of the Thai people will not be trampled.

During the event, locals shouted, asking if they could vote immediately. Anutin replied that voting could not occur before the official date because of 'illegal ballots.' The election is set for 8 February, but he urged them not to change their minds and to support Supapanee Pho-su from 21 January until election day. He reminded them to vote for number 37, warning that otherwise, he would be embarrassed to visit Nakhon Phanom.
