Trinuch led the team of candidates from Kalasin’s District 1 to campaign at Thung Sri Muang Market, promoting policies to reduce living expenses and care for Thais of all ages. She emphasized that the party continues to advance the “Mother of the Nation” policy, providing 1,500 baht monthly until childbirth.
On 22 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Trinuch Thienthong, Palang Pracharath Party’s prime ministerial candidate, along with Mr. Paphat Hengpaiboon, candidate for Member of Parliament in Kalasin Province’s District 1, and Mr. Sanan Pongaksorn, the party list candidate number 5, visited Thung Sri Muang Market in Kalasin Province.
Ms. Trinuch stated the party’s policy builds on past achievements by increasing cost-of-living support through the state welfare card, raising the allowance from 300 to 700 baht per month, alongside a free electricity measure up to 315 baht monthly. Additionally, specific increases include 100 baht more for the elderly and 200 baht more for persons with disabilities to alleviate rising living costs.
Meanwhile, the party continues the “Mother of the Nation” policy, supporting pregnant women from the fourth month with 1,500 baht monthly until childbirth, and providing 1,000 baht monthly for children up to six years old, aiming to ensure family stability from the start.
For senior citizens, the party proposes the “Senior Citizen State Policy,” increasing pensions for low-income elderly aged 60 and above on a stepped scale: 2,000 baht per month for ages 60–69, 3,000 baht for ages 70–79, 4,000 baht for ages 80–89, and 5,000 baht for those 90 and older.
Furthermore, Palang Pracharath proposes the “Million Baht Village” policy, where the government provides funding and the people contribute labor, supporting community development budgets ranging from 1 to 3 million baht annually based on area size. Villages demonstrating good management will receive continued support for up to three years to strengthen the grassroots economy.
Mr. Sanan Pongaksorn said this visit was to listen directly to the public’s concerns, especially regarding living costs and income, which remain difficulties for many households. The party is ready to push policies that reduce financial burdens and care for citizens of all ages inclusively, leaving no one behind if given the opportunity in the upcoming election.
Meanwhile, Mr. Paphat Hengpaiboon stated he understands the problems and lifestyles of the people of Kalasin well, having grown up and lived there. He pledged to work to develop his hometown by promoting policies that address living costs, reduce expenses, and create concrete economic opportunities for the community. If entrusted by the people, he will dedicate himself fully as their representative in parliament to ensure their voices are addressed effectively and sustainably.
