Peoples Party Vows Not to Vote for Blue Party Prime Minister, Urges Lampang Residents to Leave the Shadow of Old Elite Families

"Teng" stormed the Clock Tower intersection rallying Lampang residents to break free from the shadow of established elite families, promoting candidates who are honest yet unwavering against dictatorship, and firmly stating no alliance with the Blue Party.

On 22 Jan 2026 GMT+7, at the Clock Tower intersection plaza, Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People's Party, opened a major rally titled “Trust Us to Move Forward.” He appealed to Lampang residents to vote for the People's Party across all four districts, saying it is time to step out from the influential shadow of prominent families to build a truly people's government. He emphasized the need for a decisive victory to shut down the old government faction backed by shadowy capital and clearly declared that the party will not vote for a prime minister from the Blue Party.

Mr. Natthapong also addressed the hot topic of constitutional amendments, questioning opponents by asking how amendments aimed at decentralizing power and solving water and waste issues relate to Chapters 1 and 2. He affirmed that changing the rules to make independent organizations more accountable to the people concerns improving quality of life.

The People's Party leader guaranteed that all party candidates are honest, humble to the people, but steadfast against dictatorship and unwilling to bow to dark powers. He announced plans to continue campaigning in Ngao District and Lamphun Province tomorrow.
