Julapan Campaigns in Huai Khwang, Vows to Reclaim Bangkok New Policy to Be Unveiled at Tonight’s Major Rally

Julapan led the Pheu Thai team to Huai Khwang market, listening to livelihood issues and communicating economic policies closely with the people, emphasizing confidence in reclaiming Bangkok. New policies are set to be unveiled at a major rally this evening.

On 23 January 2026 at 07:30 GMT+7, Mr. Julapan Amornvivat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party and its prime ministerial candidate, along with his team, visited Huai Khwang Market in Din Daeng district, Bangkok. He was accompanied by Mr. Sahasawat Weeramongkolkul (Man), Pheu Thai candidate for Bangkok's 6th constituency, number 4. They met with residents to hear their livelihood concerns and closely communicate economic policies.

The morning atmosphere was lively, with many residents and shop owners out shopping. They warmly welcomed the Pheu Thai delegation. A group of supporters awaited to offer encouragement, present flowers, take photos, engage in conversation, and show ongoing support throughout the visit.

The Pheu Thai Party communicated key policies including a 20-baht flat fare on electric trains, debt relief for Thai citizens, the enhanced 'Khon La Khrueng' co-payment scheme, and other measures to reduce living costs. These policies received strong positive feedback from the people.

During the visit, Julapan told reporters that today's public response reflected strong confidence in the Pheu Thai Party, especially in Bangkok. He expressed belief that the party could reclaim a significant number of seats and invited people to attend the party’s major rally this evening at Siam Paragon, where new political strategies and policies will be presented.

Julapan also mentioned that people from other provinces have called for more frequent visits by Ajarn Chen Yotsanan Wongsawat to meet with residents. Moving forward, the Pheu Thai Party will continue field visits across Bangkok and other provinces consistently, assuring that all candidates are covering their areas thoroughly. If entrusted to form a government, the party promises to reach every village to address issues concretely.

The Pheu Thai team participating in this visit included party-list candidates Mr. Danuporn Punnakan, Mr. Prameth Pitchpandadecha, Mr. Umesnat Pandey, Mr. Polnoncha Chakphet, party spokesman Mr. Sukit Srijomkwan, and party member Ms. Dusanee Tiardej.
