Sudarat, the Thai Sang Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, campaigned in the Talat Noi community, promoting a monthly pension of 3,000 baht for citizens. She emphasized a genuine commitment to deliver this within six months, aiming to create a new life with dignity and respect.
On 24 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Khun Ying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party (TST), visited and met elderly residents in the Talat Noi community, Samphanthawong District, Bangkok. Amid a warm atmosphere, many seniors inquired about the pension policy and pledged their support for the Thai Sang Thai Party.
Khun Ying Sudarat stated that Thailand has now fully entered an aging society, but most elderly people remain impoverished and face illnesses, causing severe hardship and a heavy burden on their descendants. The Thai Sang Thai Party is determined to transform these burdens into a driving force for national progress through a policy providing a monthly pension of 3,000 baht, paid continuously until death, ensuring all elderly have sufficient income to live with dignity and no longer be a burden to younger generations. Besides financial support, the policy also emphasizes health programs to strengthen well-being and reduce illnesses like high cholesterol, hypertension, and diabetes. This will help seniors regain good health, enabling them to work again. The party’s definition of elderly is not bedridden but healthy, improving daily, and self-reliant.
“This policy will not only bring happiness to the elderly but also reduce the country’s annual healthcare costs by hundreds of billions of baht. It is a sustainable structural solution and a way to honor the elderly who have contributed to the nation for many years. Therefore, we ask for the opportunity to let Thai Sang Thai seriously care for the elderly. We declare that if elected with sufficient seats, the 3,000 baht monthly pension will reach the elderly within six months of forming the government. With our proven experience and transparency, we assure the public that we will fulfill this promise. We urge all citizens to vote for the pink ballot number 48 to create a new life for elderly people nationwide, improving their living conditions and dignity.”
