The Pheu Thai Party launched a campaign team in Kuchinarai District, with Yotsanan announcing plans to create new millionaires by randomly awarding nine million-baht prizes daily and providing debt relief for elderly citizens. They also aim to elevate Kalasin Province through soft power and are confident of reclaiming District 6.
On 24 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the Pheu Thai Party met with the public and held a major speech at the Phu Buakhao Shrine in Kuchinarai District, Kalasin Province. The event was lively as people awaited to meet Yotsanan Wongsawat, the prime ministerial candidate, along with party secretary-general Prasert Chanruangthong, and party campaign assistants Nattawut Saiyaku and Sutin Klangsaeng, as well as Panthongtae Shinawatra.
This visit supported Chanawut Utto, candidate for Kalasin MP District 6, number 3, aiming to reclaim this key strategic area long held by the party. The atmosphere was vibrant, with more than 20,000 people attending the speech, filling the venue and spilling outside the shrine area. During the event, the public presented Yotsanan with garlands of Kalasin sticky rice, one kilogram on each side.
Yotsanan then delivered a speech emphasizing his commitment to turning the hopes and dreams of Kalasin people into reality after 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7, aiming to elevate Thailand to a high-income country by leveraging science and technology to drive the economy. His goal is for all Thai people to have higher incomes. He also highlighted systematic debt solutions, including a three-year debt moratorium for farmers, support for informal debts, and debt relief for elderly with bad debts up to 200,000 baht, where paying just 10% grants immediate debt clearance to restore financial freedom.
Additionally, Yotsanan presented the 'Create Nine Millionaires Daily' policy, a major economic data-gathering strategy to attract people into the tax system. The government will monitor individual incomes and expenses to provide targeted assistance. Those registered will have a daily chance to win a one-million-baht prize, totaling 3,240 winners per year. Over an eight-year term, this could create 26,000 new millionaires. This will be combined with cost-of-living relief through a 3.70 baht electricity rate and an economic stimulus policy called 'More than Plus 70:30' to boost grassroots spending and economic circulation.
For Kalasin Province, the Pheu Thai Party plans to position it as a key tourism and cultural destination, particularly by enhancing soft power products like Praewa silk and Kalasin sticky rice, increasing their value and global recognition. They also reaffirmed their commitment to decentralize authority back to local governments, enabling the province to manage budgets for infrastructure, electricity, and water supply independently. Furthermore, they vowed to decisively tackle drug problems by eliminating producers and dealers within three to six months and establishing rehabilitation centers in every province to restore families.
At the end of his speech, Professor Dr. Yotsanan emphasized upgrading public health policies through the '30 Baht AI' system or '30 Baht Treatment Everywhere,' which uses a digital database to link medical histories, ensuring all Thais can access the best medical services at any hospital. He called on the people of Kalasin to support the Pheu Thai Party in all six districts, so the party can implement all policies effectively and bring lasting change to the people of Kalasin.
