Piyabutr Criticizes Natthawut and Jatuporn, Says Theyve Changed and Looks Like Theyre Wearing Yellow Shirts Now

Piyabutr angrily responded to Natthawut and Jatuporn’s remarks during a major speech mocking the orange party, declaring they have "changed now," joking that he thought they were wearing yellow shirts.

On 24 January 2026, at the People's Party campaign stage in Phon Na Kaeo District, Sakon Nakhon Province, Mr. Piyabutr Saengkanokkul, former secretary-general of the Future Forward Party and assistant campaigner for the People's Party, addressed recent remarks made multiple times by the Pheu Thai Party during their campaign speeches.

Piyabutr said that people feel concerned because yesterday, a man wearing a red shirt arrogantly gave a speech at a central Bangkok mall, analyzing politics by saying that even if the People's Party wins, it will not form a government because 44 candidates and MPs would face legal cases and many MPs would disappear, so the party would not be able to form a government. He said he was dismayed, thinking the speaker wore a yellow shirt—turns out he wore red, the color of democracy. So, is he truly on the democratic side?

"Then why speak like this? He talks as if the People's Party cannot form a government and will be prosecuted, acting as if he has never been through this path or shared this fate, yet analyzes it in detail."

"Well, if you think that way, in the past, no one should have voted for your party because your party also faced dissolution and disqualification. So why didn’t you say these things to your own party during elections? You’ve really changed… what the heck."

Piyabutr concluded on this point: "Everyone can see that those in power will not give up easily and will try to block the People's Party from becoming the government. Even a child can see this, but it depends on whether you surrender or fight. If your party has learned the lesson and chooses to surrender, that’s their choice. But the People's Party knows what we are fighting against. We will continue to fight."
