Orange Party Leads: Poll Results for 2026 Election Show Samut Prakan Residents Support Teng - Peoples Party Candidate

The Orange Party leads in the Nida Poll results: people in Samut Prakan support "Teng Natthapong" as prime minister and tend to choose "People's Party candidates" in the 2026 election. Meanwhile, "Anutin" and the Bhumjaithai Party rank second.
On 25 January 2026, the Nida Poll survey center at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) released results of the survey titled "Election 69 of Samut Prakan People." The survey was conducted from 15-19 January 2026 among 1,067 residents aged 18 and over with voting rights in Samut Prakan province, covering all education levels, occupations, and income groups, regarding the 2026 election preferences of Samut Prakan residents.
When asked about the individual whom Samut Prakan residents would support as “prime minister” today, the findings were
- Rank 1 at 31.96% named Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut (People's Party).
- Rank 2 at 20.15% named Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul (Bhumjaithai Party).
- Rank 3 at 16.31% said they have not found a suitable candidate yet.
- Rank 4 at 9.00% named Mr. Yossanan Wongsawat (Pheu Thai Party).
- Rank 5 at 6.09% named Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva (Democrat Party).
- Rank 6 at 4.69% named General Rangsee Kittiyantrasap (Economic Party).
- Rank 7 at 2.06% named Ms. Sirikanya Tansakul (People's Party).
- Rank 8 at 1.87% named Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan (Thai Sang Thai Party).
- Rank 9 at 1.50% named Mr. Chulaphan Amornwiwat (Pheu Thai Party).
- Rank 10 at 1.03% named Mr. Peeraphan Saleeratwipak (United Thai Nation Party).
- Five point fifteen percent named others, including Police General Seripisut Temiyavet (Seri Ruam Thai Party), Mr. Weerayut Kanchuchat (People's Party), Dr. Suchatvee Suwansawat (Thai Khao Mai Party), Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit (Pheu Thai Party), Dr. Warong Dechgitvigrom (Thai Pakdee Party), General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Mr. Mongkolkit Suksintharanon (New Alternative Party), Captain Thammanat Prompao (Kla Party), Lieutenant General Poradorn Phatthanathabut (Thai Sang Thai Party), Mr. Sihasak Puangkaewkaew (Bhumjaithai Party), Mr. Suradet Taweesangskulthai (Thai Sang Thai Party), Mr. Chuan Leekpai (Democrat Party), as well as those who voted "Vote No." Zero point nineteen percent did not answer or were uninterested.
Regarding political parties that people in Samut Prakan tend to choose for "constituency MP seats," the results showed
- Rank 1 at 42.46% chose the People's Party.
- Rank 2 at 18.18% chose the Bhumjaithai Party.
- Rank 3 at 14.62% chose the Pheu Thai Party.
- Rank 4 at 7.69% were undecided.
- Rank 5 at 6.09% chose the Democrat Party.
