Pitas Comeback Speech Urges People to Elect Teng for Government Formation, Declares 10 Years Will Pass Quickly

Tim returns to the People’s Party's major campaign stage, appealing to voters to support candidate number 46 to form a people's government, sending 'Prime Minister Teng' to the Government House. He emphasized that 10 years is not long, and soon Thanathorn, Piyabutr, Chaitawat, and Pita will be back.

People’s Party Major Campaign Speech

On 25 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters described the lively atmosphere outside Samyan Mitrtown, bustling with supporters of the People’s Party (PChn.) waiting for the launch of the major campaign event under the 'Trust in the People' campaign. The event began at 16:00, with many supporters arriving early to secure their spots to hear the party leaders’ speeches.

Before taking the stage, Pita gave a media interview saying he had returned once again to a familiar environment with unfinished business to complete. He joined the team, noting that elections are always challenging but their strength lies in teamwork since the Future Forward Party era. He mentioned the '4T' team—Thorn, Tim, Teng, Tom—working together to ensure Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut enters the Government House. He left the final push for votes to Mr. Natthapong but said his role was to help communicate with the 25% or 10 million people who usually do not vote. He emphasized the need to mobilize 25 million voters because Ms. Ice (Ms. Rakchanok Srinok) has already attracted 24 million people through social security, highlighting the strategy that voting is beneficial.

When asked about nationalist sentiments and the military rhetoric 'Why have the military?' and whether this would affect the election, Pita responded that this issue has been explained many times. Their stance is to reform the military to be modern, respect human rights, and eliminate corruption—positions understood by many professional soldiers.

Then at 17:03 GMT+7, Pita Limjaroenrat, former leader of the Move Forward Party, acting as a campaign assistant for the People’s Party, took the stage to cheers from the crowd who offered gifts and flower garlands around his neck amid loud screams. Pita announced to the crowd that he had returned for one reason: to encourage everyone to vote for number 46 and send 'Prime Minister Teng' (Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut) to the Government House.

“Today, I return with longing, and there are unresolved issues to settle. Although my political rights were revoked, the court cannot erase my affection for the people. Today, we must put fear behind us and hope ahead. Good politics means a good livelihood and a future. I ask everyone to join hands and move forward together. Our country should not be filled only with suffering, as some are trying to do now.”

Pita continued, saying that in the last election, their Move Forward Party received over 14 million votes, but they were not allowed to govern. This time, they will not accept that again. The only way is to win—win big, win decisively, win so overwhelmingly that the second-place party cannot form a government. Win for so long that Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit and Piyabutr Saengkanokkul return.

Before continuing his speech, he called for Prime Minister Teng to lead the government for two terms (eight years). After those two terms, Pita and Chaitawat Tulathon could return. He urged supporters to sustain victory long enough for his daughter to enter politics, affirming that they are patient and questioning why anyone would want to hold back time. Ten years is not long; in a few years, Thanathorn, Chaitawat, Piyabutr, and Pita will surely return.

Pita also acknowledged that voting has costs—some must close their shops to vote—but this election is more important than any before, as there will be no Senate involvement. For those undecided, there are still two weeks left. He urged them to vote for the People’s Party, saying no party is perfect, but none fights for the people from dawn to dusk like the People’s Party. On 8 Feb, mark number 46. Do not lose hope in politics. He concluded that achievable politics do not depend on any individual but on the people. Together, they will form a people’s government for the people.

After leaving the stage, Pita boarded a van to continue campaigning in Samut Prakan Province. As the vehicle moved off, he rolled down the window to greet waiting supporters before signing autographs and taking photos.
