25 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai party and its prime ministerial candidate, traveled to the Sant Asoke community and Sammakorn Market area in Bangkok to meet residents and vendors, receiving warm responses along the way. Khunying Sudarat said at one point, She and the Thai Sang Thai party intend to manage the budget honestly to tackle corruption and help small-scale people facing income crises, expenses exceeding income, and overwhelming debt, aiming to sustainably improve their livelihoods.
The Thai Sang Thai party proposed policies to care for Thais from the womb to old age, starting with enhancing children's quality of life through a voucher program that provides 2,000 baht monthly support from pregnancy until age 6 to promote healthy growth. Education policies include free tuition through a bachelor's degree without student loan debt, curriculum shortening by 3-4 years, enabling youth to graduate and start working by age 18 to keep pace with global changes.
Regarding employment and debt relief, the party introduced a Start Fund allowing citizens to borrow 10,000 to 100,000 baht using only their ID card, with no collateral and a low interest rate of 1 percent per month, to repay informal debts and start anew. Additionally, a public pension of 3,000 baht monthly aims to ensure security and restore dignity to the elderly, reducing the burden on their descendants. The party also promotes health programs to help seniors regain strength and opportunities to work, fostering self-pride.
Khunying Sudarat concluded by saying, "With all the knowledge, ability, and political experience accumulated, I am fully prepared to care for Thai people, ensuring stable incomes and truly improved quality of life, especially through honest work, clean hands, and policies that have been successfully implemented before. We aim to turn people's hardships into happiness and confidence in the future. I am confident that if Thai Sang Thai party is given the chance, we can immediately implement all policies for the utmost benefit of all Thais."
