The Prachachart Party held a major rally in Yala Province, the home base of Pol.Col. Tawee, emphasizing the transformation of this area into a land of opportunity through alternative economic systems and an economy based on ethics. They are confident of reaching their goal of 900,000 votes.
A reporter described the atmosphere of the major Prachachart Party rally held on the evening of 25 Jan 2026 in Yala Province, which is the home base of the Prachachart Party, led by Mr. Wan Muhamad Nor Matha, Party Advisor, and Pol.Col. Tawee Sodsoong, Prachachart Party leader and prime ministerial candidate, along with three candidates for the House of Representatives seats in Yala: Sulayman Buaneepin (District 1), Sugano Matha (District 2), and Abdulayi Sameang (District 3). A large crowd filled the public park at the White Elephant Ceremony Ground, Yala Municipality, to listen to the speeches.
Pol.Col. Tawee stated that public response this time was clearly better than in previous elections, emphasizing that the party must present challenging policies to lift people out of chronic poverty persisting for over 20 years. “We have been stuck in a security dimension for too long. The more we try to fix security, the less secure it becomes. Quality of life and the economy have worsened. Therefore, the Prachachart Party proposes to transform this area into a land of opportunity through alternative economic systems and an economy based on ethics.”
He also proposed policies to drive development in the southern border area through an ethical economy, promote interest-free financial systems, and implement tax incentives to attract investment from the Muslim world. This would foster national growth, unlock debt burdens, suspend student loan repayments to restore opportunities for youth and families, adopt a proactive drug war to seriously eliminate dealers, and establish permanent free rehabilitation centers to bring children back to loving families. Peace through justice would use equal justice as the foundation for sustainable solutions to unrest.
Pol.Col. Tawee expressed confidence in the party list vote, targeting 900,000 votes from the three southern border provinces and other areas nationwide, as the party’s policies address both religious identity and national income generation, such as promoting halal tourism and businesses to build confidence among foreign investors.
