Yotchanan Campaigns in Bua Yai District Promoting Millionaire Policy as Nattawut Reveals Opponents Recorded Speeches

Yotchanan campaigned in Bua Yai District promoting the millionaire policy, urging voters to choose both the candidate and the Pheu Thai Party. Meanwhile, Nattawut invited Bua Yai residents to vote for Patcharawan instead of the former MP who switched parties, declaring that sending people to secretly record speeches is not enough and challenging them to record videos instead.

At 09:30 on 26 Jan 2026, at the multipurpose activity area in front of the large pond in Bua Yai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Mr. Yotchanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai Party’s prime ministerial candidate, along with his team, campaigned to support Ms. Patcharawan Pinyo, candidate for Nakhon Ratchasima’s 6th constituency, number 1. Ms. Sudawan Wangsupakitkosol, the election lead coordinator for Nakhon Ratchasima, also joined. The atmosphere was lively as many people gathered to listen to the speeches and welcomed Yotchanan and his team by presenting garlands of Mexican sunflowers, crispy pork wreaths, fermented fish, fried bananas, steamed buns, marigold garlands overflowing their necks, and tying traditional white checkered scarves.

In his speech, Yotchanan greeted the people of Korat again, saying, “Should we turn Korat red all over? Today, we are fully prepared to turn the dreams and hopes of the people on 8 February into reality, starting with Korat. The quality of life for Korat’s people is important. This policy, no matter who forms a party, must listen to the people's voices first. Anyone can talk about or implement quality of life policies, but we must become a high-income country. To have high income, it must be high for everyone, right?”

Yotchanan emphasized the policy of solving all debts, including immediate relief for farmers’ debts and tackling informal debts. He urged voters to choose Pheu Thai, which aims to reduce expenses, increase income, and expand opportunities so people won’t fall into debt again. Pheu Thai never abandons anyone, with a 30% profit insurance policy ready to implement immediately. Policies for rice, sugarcane, and cassava are also immediate, including land and fertilizer support. As Mr. Nattawut Saiyakeua, Pheu Thai campaign assistant, said, “We are a party that knows how to generate revenue. Just 10% entering the system and we will provide welfare for everyone.” Regarding the millionaire policy involving nine people, though the budget isn’t large, it incentivizes everyone to join the system, creating a digital government. This addresses gray capital and corruption sustainably by focusing on data for the people. Part of the funds will help bedridden patients and those earning less than 3,000 baht monthly, supporting them to maintain their dignity as Thai people. We will make Korat prosperous with AI, ensuring happiness and quality of life. Can you choose Yotchanan as prime minister? Please choose both the candidate and the party.”

Nattawut Seeks to Win All 16 Constituencies in Korat, Urges Bua Yai Residents to Support Patcharawan

Meanwhile, Mr. Nattawut Saiyakeua, Pheu Thai campaign assistant, spoke in support of Ms. Patcharawan Pinyo, candidate for Nakhon Ratchasima’s 6th constituency, saying that Bua Yai was formerly represented by Mr. Kosol Patama, who recently switched to run under the Bhumjaithai Party. With only 13 days until the election, voters must carefully consider their choices. Pheu Thai has held this seat continuously. Nattawut has campaigned here since the government of Mr. Samak Sundaravej and the administration of Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, attending every time and gaining people's support. However, this time he was surprised to see the candidate’s signs change from a male MP with 3-4 terms to a woman. When he asked locals, they said the former MP has left them for some time, so a new candidate is needed.

Message to Former MP Who Switched Parties: Sending People to Secretly Record Speeches Is Not Enough, Challenge Them to Record Videos

Nattawut continued that as he arrived to give a speech, Mr. Anusorn Iamsa-ard, a list MP candidate, informed him that the former MP who left Pheu Thai had called to say that today, during Pheu Thai’s speech in Bua Yai, they would secretly record all speeches on tape to file complaints with the Election Commission if needed. Hearing this, Nattawut was surprised and said, “I’m here to campaign; don’t record tapes—those are outdated. Record videos instead, because tapes only capture audio and aren’t enough.”

Nattawut further said that political debate and criticism are normal. Is it possible for an MP to switch parties? Yes, it is legal. MPs can switch parties, but the people won’t follow them. Voters will elect new representatives instead. There is nothing wrong with this straightforwardly. When the old representative leaves, the new one is ready to work. The new candidate is an experienced former provincial councillor familiar with political work and governance, not an inexperienced person.

“Pheu Thai is ready to be the government that serves the people and the nation according to its declared policies. Korat has 16 constituencies. Last time, Pheu Thai won 12 of them, missing only 4. This time, the strength combines Mr. Prasert Chandrrawongthong, Ms. Sudawan Wangsupakitkosol, and the former Chart Pattana Party team led by Mr. Suwat Liptapanlop and Mr. Thewan Liptapanlop. The political power of Korat unites as one. We want Korat’s politics to be unified, supporting a government that delivers real results. Therefore, this time, we aim to win all 16 constituencies. Nakhon Ratchasima is the province with the second-highest number of MPs after Bangkok. This is the first time Korat’s political forces have gathered together. Given the current state of the country, we must use a party with policies to solve problems and work effectively.”
