He added that both sides had already discussed to avoid any sense of threat or military preparations, and the military reported the situation was not as the news or speculation suggested because everything remains normal.
A reporter then asked for clarification, whether the reports that Cambodia had mobilized forces close to the Thai border were untrue. The Prime Minister confirmed that according to military reports, there was no such movement and emphasized that the government assures the public it has controlled the situation and territory, including maintaining troop deployments. He praised the military for continuing to monitor the border for the public’s safety. At the same time, discussions have been held with international parties to explain Thailand’s approach.
