Ignoring the Orange Party Trend, Anutin Confident of Bhumjaithais Public Support, Avoids Risky Tactics in Final Campaign Stretch

Anutin dismisses the orange party's momentum, saying no one campaigns to be in the opposition. He is confident that the public warmly receives Bhumjaithai. Wherever he goes, people wish him "success 37." He emphasizes avoiding risky moves that could cost votes in the final stretch of the campaign.

At 10:45 a.m. on 26 January 2026, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior as well as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, commented on the People's Party rally yesterday (25 Jan) which included remarks about the military’s role that some might view as belittling. He said the public understands well but one cannot criticize the ideas or directions of each party since every party has its own path and they should respect each other.

Regarding Pita Limjaroenrat, former leader of the Move Forward Party and an assistant campaigner for the People's Party, and concerns about the orange party gaining momentum in the final stretch, Anutin said he did not watch the rally in Nong Khai but noted there was a large crowd yesterday.

On the People's Party’s confidence in leading a coalition government, Anutin said everyone must be confident. He added that no one goes on stage and says, 'Vote for me, I will be in the opposition.'

When asked about the public response to Bhumjaithai after his recent campaign visits, Anutin replied positively, saying that wherever he goes, people tell him, 'Wishing you success 37.'

Asked if Bhumjaithai would launch final-stage vote-catching policies like the Pheu Thai Party, Anutin said their policies are already good, appropriate, feasible, beneficial to the public, do not harm the country, stimulate the economy, and enhance people's happiness. He reiterated that they will not use risky policies that might cost votes in the final campaign phase.
