Yotsanan, carrying garlands of food around his neck, campaigned in Khong District as locals surrounded him, draping him with Korat noodles and banana chips. He urged voters to support Pheu Thai candidates across all 16 constituencies of the province and expressed his desire to enter parliament as the 33rd prime minister, pledging to resolve the entire debt system.
At 10:00 a.m. on 26 Jan 2026 at the Nong Khaem market square in Khong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Yotsanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai's prime ministerial candidate, along with his team, gave a campaign speech supporting Porntep Sirirojankul, the candidate for the 16th constituency. The atmosphere was lively, with many citizens attending the speech in full.
As soon as Yotsanan arrived, people presented him with roses, marigold garlands, garlands made from Korat fried noodles, thong muan wafers, and banana chips. They also embraced him and asked for selfies.
Yotsanan said in his speech that this election must be decisive because they will go in to change Thailand. Today, we see many problems, and surely, as I arrived, I heard the dreams and hopes of the people. Therefore, on 8 February, I will enter parliament to turn the dreams and hopes of the people into reality. Of course, I cannot do this alone, so I ask you to also elect Chen and Tong. Can you choose both the candidates and the party? On 8 February, we will start to resolve the entire debt system. We already have a working team. Certainly, we will not abandon anyone. Today, we are discussing the quality of life for the people of Korat. Some are very wealthy, some have yet to be wealthy. This time, we will change the whole system structure. If we help the rich, we must help the poor too. If we want a good quality of life, we must begin by freeing ourselves from these bonds. On 8 February, we will immediately start fixing the entire debt system.
“When you go to the polling station, please vote thoughtfully—not just Chen at number 2 and Tong at number 9. We are a political party that must raise funds properly, and the money we raise will be distributed to local areas, reducing state power and returning power to the people. Can you vote for all 16 constituencies? Can you let Ms. Sudawan become a minister again? I ask that you vote decisively. Last time, we won 12 constituencies; this time, can we have all 16? Please elect Yotsanan to become the 33rd prime minister for the people of Korat.”
