
The Election Commission Chairman toured Trat and Chanthaburi to observe preparations for elections and referendums, urging election inspectors and rapid response teams to conduct election investigations and inquiries with honesty and fairness.
At 11:00 on 26 January 2026, at the Trat Provincial Election Commission office, Mr. Narong Klwanwarin, Chairman of the Election Commission (EC), accompanied by advisors and staff, visited Trat Province to monitor preparations for the House of Representatives election and referendum. He delivered policy guidance on investigations and inquiries to the Trat election inspectors and rapid response teams, urging effective operations in line with legal frameworks. He also encouraged EC staff in Trat to support the election and referendum processes to be conducted honestly, fairly, and lawfully.
At 14:00, the EC Chairman and his team proceeded to the Chanthaburi Provincial Election Commission office to provide policy guidance on investigations and inquiries to election inspectors and rapid response teams there, while also offering encouragement to the EC staff in Chanthaburi.
Additionally, Mr. Narong Klwanwarin and his team plan to observe preparations and provide investigative policy guidance in Rayong, Chonburi, and Chachoengsao Provinces on 27-28 January.
