On 26 Jan 2026, following the Election Commission’s announcement of early voting scheduled for Sunday, 1 Feb 2026, and the general election for members of the House of Representatives (MPs) alongside the constitutional referendum on the posed question, “Do you agree that a new constitution should be enacted?” These will be held nationwide simultaneously on Sunday, 8 Feb 2026, with polling stations open from 08:00 to 17:00.
To verify eligibility for the House of Representatives election and the referendum, voters can check their names on the household notification letter, via the Election Commission’s website or the Smart Vote app, through the Department of Provincial Administration’s website, or in person at the district or local administrative offices.
