Supamas Appeals for Opportunity as Bhumjaithai Party Seeks Breakthrough in Bangkok, Invites Public to Major Rally at Lumphini Park on 30 Jan

The Bhumjaithai Party campaigns in Ratchathewi district, with Supamas appealing for a chance for the Blue Party to establish itself in Bangkok. It was revealed that on 30 January, Anutin and the dream team of Ekniti and Supachai will lead the party's first major rally at Lumphini Park, Bangkok.

At 4:00 p.m. on 26 January 2026, Bhumjaithai Party leaders, led by Secretary-General Chaiyachon Chidchob, Bangkok campaign chief Supamas Isarapakdi, party list candidates Sabida Thaiset and Warawut Silpa-archa, Bangkok campaign chief Eknat Phromphan, and party list candidate Anucha Burapachaisri, visited the Darul Falah Mosque and the Religious Learning Center at Yamiulkhairiyah Mosque (Volunteer Corps Mosque). They also canvassed support door-to-door within the Ban Khrua Nuea community, seeking votes for Bhumjaithai candidate Patcharin Samsiripong in the Sathorn-Pathumwan-Ratchathewi Bangkok district. The atmosphere was lively and enthusiastic.

Supamas spoke about the upcoming major Bhumjaithai rally on 30 January at Lumphini Park, inviting residents of Bangkok and nearby provinces to attend. The rally will focus on economic and livelihood issues, featuring party leader Anutin Charnvirakul and other party leaders, especially Supachai Suthumpun and Ekniti Nitituntaprapas, starting from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. near the King Rama VI Monument at Lumphini Park.

She said the public will see that during Anutin's tenure as prime minister, various policies were successfully implemented and well received by the people, even within a few months, especially the Khon La Khrueng Plus program. Therefore, if given the opportunity to serve for four years, the party will work more effectively. However, Bhumjaithai has yet to have any MPs in Bangkok. She affirmed the party's candidates are all qualified and asked for a chance to establish Bhumjaithai in Bangkok to serve the people. As the party leader said, 'Do not divide your loyalties or votes. Unite at the Blue corner to support leader Anutin.'

“This event marks Bhumjaithai’s first major rally in the Bangkok election arena, with Anutin leading the party's team to build public confidence, especially regarding economic and livelihood issues. Ekniti, the policy driver behind Khon La Khrueng Plus, and Supachai will share their ideas and directions for driving the country's economy. Many say just hearing their names evokes a sense of prosperity.”

Thanakorn Responds to Piyabutr: On 8 Feb, Thais Will Mobilize to Teach a Lesson

Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, Bhumjaithai party list candidate, campaigned along Niphatuthit Roads 1, 2, and 3 and walked through Kim Yong Market in Songkhla to support Sastra Sipan, the party’s candidate for Songkhla District 2. In the afternoon, he cycled and canvassed at Padang Besar Municipal Market to support Anukun Pruksanusak, candidate for Songkhla District 6. He attracted attention from shoppers who greeted him, requested autographs, and took photos.

Thanakorn commented on Piyabutr Saengkanokkul, leader of the Progressive Movement, who called for a mass mobilization on 8 February to declare that the Thai people, as the country's owners, grant a license for the People’s Party to form a government, and that no one can revoke this license or seek a second license to cancel it. Thanakorn said he believes that on 8 February, the people will turn out massively to vote and show Piyabutr that the nation wants political parties focused on solving livelihood problems, not prioritizing constitutional amendments first.

. He added that on 8 February, the people will channel their long-held frustrations into a forceful message to Piyabutr, signaling that they will no longer be fooled by promises to solve their hardships, only to find the focus shifting to amending Section 112 instead. Thus, on that day, there will be only one license: a warning to Piyabutr to understand that only when he prioritizes the people's suffering will he be given a chance to govern.

Regarding Pheu Thai party leaders’ attempts to defend their policy of creating nine millionaires by giving one million baht each, Thanakorn said he wants to ask Pheu Thai if they want the entire nation to spend one to two hours daily glued to TV watching government lottery draws to see who the nine lucky millionaires are. He questioned whether vendors should stop working for one to two hours to watch, hoping to be a winner. He criticized government publicity focusing daily on announcing lucky winners rather than reporting on the country's economic situation or threats from other countries. He asked if they truly want Thailand to become like this.

He said the first question Pheu Thai must answer is how those lucky winners can prove they are not party vote canvassers. Ultimately, won’t the winners be exposed for using connections to get the prizes? He noted that just days after launching the policy, bad weather destroyed campaign tents in front of audiences, causing chaos. Finally, he warned that after the election, Pheu Thai should not make excuses claiming these were merely campaign strategies to deceive the public.
