On 27 January 2026, the NIDA Poll Center at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) released the results of a survey titled "Election 69 of Nakhon Si Thammarat Residents." The survey was conducted from 19 to 21 January 2026 among 1,067 residents aged 18 and over, all eligible voters in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, covering all education levels, occupations, and income groups. The survey used probability sampling from NIDA Poll's Master Sample database, employing multi-stage sampling and data collection via telephone interviews, with a margin of error not exceeding 0.05 at a 95.0% confidence level.
The survey asked which individual residents of Nakhon Si Thammarat would support as prime minister today and found that

Rank 2: 16.40% named Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul (Bhumjaithai Party).

Rank 4: 10.50% indicated they have not found a suitable candidate yet.

Age distribution: 10.78% aged 18-25, 17.81% aged 26-35, 18.37% aged 36-45, 25.96% aged 46-59, and 27.08% aged 60 and over. Religious affiliation: 94.75% Buddhist, 4.97% Muslim, and 0.28% Christian or other religions.
Marital status: 31.68% single, 66.45% married, and 1.87% widowed, divorced, or separated. Education levels: 0.28% no education, 20.62% completed primary school, 34.96% completed secondary school or equivalent, 8.53% completed diploma or equivalent, 32.43% completed bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 3.18% completed higher than bachelor's degree.
Occupations: 10.88% government officials, state enterprise employees, or civil servants; 12.65% private sector employees; 21.74% business owners or freelancers; 17.34% farmers or fishers; 13.68% general laborers; 18.37% homemakers, retirees, or unemployed; and 5.34% students.
Income levels: 19.40% have no income; 2.16% earn up to 5,000 baht monthly; 16.12% earn 5,001–10,000 baht; 35.52% earn 10,001–20,000 baht; 11.62% earn 20,001–30,000 baht; 5.62% earn 30,001–40,000 baht; 1.78% earn 40,001–50,000 baht; 0.85% earn 50,001–60,000 baht; 0.28% earn 60,001–70,000 baht; 0.28% earn over 80,001 baht; and 6.37% did not specify income.
