RTSC Launches Pet-Lover Policy: One State-Owned Veterinary Hospital per Province

RTSC promotes the "Pet Lover" campaign for the election with a policy of one state-owned veterinary hospital per province, cutting veterinary fees by 50% to win the support of animal lovers.

On 27 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party (RTSC) launched a new policy aimed at winning the hearts of animal lovers. Atthawit Suwanpakdee, the party's prime ministerial candidate, appeared alongside his beloved dog "Nong Amber" to promote the "One Province, One State Veterinary Hospital" policy. This initiative appeals to dog and cat owners by offering a 50% reduction in animal medical treatment fees, aiming to ease financial burdens and improve animal welfare nationwide by providing more affordable care.

The social media atmosphere buzzed with excitement as party leaders campaigned with their "bosses" (pets). Pheerapun Saleeratwipak posted a photo with "Maprao," a rescued stray dog, while Naraphat Kaewthong showcased a large white dog. Several parliamentary candidates also shared pictures with their pets to support the campaign. Additionally, the party plans to establish a "Stray Animal Foundation in Every Province" to systematically and sustainably address the stray dog and cat problem in communities. This adds a lively political dimension by making issues close to pet owners a central part of this election campaign.
