Supachai Aims to Take Over Agriculture Ministry to Address Falling Cattle Prices, Urges Landslide Vote for Bhumjaithai Party

"Supachai" appealed to the people of Ubon to continue the upward trend in rice and cassava prices, stating that cattle prices have fallen because Bhumjaithai has neglected the issue. She said that if the party receives strong voter support, they will take control of the Agriculture and Industry Ministries to manage these sectors directly.

On 27 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the Srimuang Mai stage nearly erupted as Ms. Supachai Suthamphan, the economic team member of the Bhumjaithai Party, gave her first campaign speech supporting “Nong Kan” Sudarat Pitakpornpalop, a candidate in District 8. She opened with a sweet Isan phrase, "Miss you very much," and showcased successes in surging rice and cassava prices, while emphasizing achievements from closing border checkpoints to block smuggled goods as directed by the Prime Minister.

A highlight came when a candidate whispered about the “falling cattle prices,” to which Supachai quickly responded, “The cattle prices have dropped because they’re not under the Commerce Ministry (which our party oversees).” She publicly declared that this time she asks Ubon residents to vote overwhelmingly for the blue party so they can take full control of the Agriculture and Industry Ministries, aiming to boost prices of products like cattle and sugarcane as strongly as rice prices. She expressed confidence in securing markets domestically and internationally.

Deputy Prime Minister and Bhumjaithai Party leader Anutin Charnvirakul asked the crowd, “How are you?” before announcing on stage that Sudarat is his beloved niece, braver and tougher than many men. He urged the people of the Lotus City to send this niece back to parliament once again.

During the speech, locals joked about rice prices, shouting, “Sold out, that’s why prices went up.” The leader quickly retorted, “That was the previous government, not ours.” He said that prices are good now because the government dares to close checkpoints to block smuggled goods, and there is no need to worry about border security, as all drugs and scammers will be completely eliminated.

Finally, "Nong Kan" gave a heartfelt closing speech, pleading for votes by saying, “My angel, please enter the booth and mark number 1.”
