Anutin expressed no concern over Narumon's speech that referenced selecting "A." and "N." He said Narumon was not wrong in saying, "Choose Anutin, get me." He emphasized pride in Sudarat’s unhesitant party switch and noted no issues with coalition partners following Suphajee's speech about wanting to oversee the Ministry of Agriculture.
27 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party and prime ministerial candidate, commented on campaigning in Ubon Ratchathani Province to support Ms. Sudarat Pitakpornphallop, candidate for Ubon Ratchathani’s 8th constituency, and whether this would add more MPs for the Bhumjaithai Party, saying all Bhumjaithai candidates are ready as the final phase approaches, with less than two weeks remaining. Everyone must now build confidence among the public.
Regarding Ms. Suphajee Suthumphun’s first speech as part of Bhumjaithai’s economic dream team, Anutin said she is a professional and capable, and the public sees her dedication. If the party is trusted to govern again, professionals like Suphajee, Akniti Nititanprapas, Sihasak Puangkaetkaew, and other politically suitable figures will jointly lead the country to prosperity.
When asked about criticism that Ms. Sudarat might not be proud to run under Bhumjaithai, Anutin responded, that he is proud of Ms. Sudarat as a Bhumjaithai candidate because she works hard. When she decided to join the party, she did so without hesitation and has continuously worked to build public confidence and support the party. Regarding reports of her wearing the wrong party shirt, he considered it impossible for any candidate to make such a mistake and saw no impact. The photo was old and came from an adversarial source, though he was unsure if it stemmed from hatred or fear of defeat.
On the issue of Ms. Suphajee’s speech that to improve agricultural products, voters should choose Bhumjaithai to return and directly manage the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Anutin said the decision rests with the public. However, if Bhumjaithai leads the government, the prime minister can coordinate cooperation among all ministers.
When asked if direct management would improve operations, Anutin replied, that in nearly four months as prime minister, he has had no problems with coalition partners and has received full cooperation. Issues like soybean imports affecting cooking oil prices have been addressed by extending measures for three years, which he proposed to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives and was approved, as it promotes business clarity without negotiation. Everyone cooperates to benefit the public rather than focusing on which party gains more votes as in the past. He believes that joint achievements will gain public approval.
Regarding Narumon Pinyosinwat, leader of the Kla Party, referencing "choosing A. and N." in her speech, Anutin laughed and said, "Choosing A. and N. is correct because Anutin also ‘gets me.’ She didn’t say it wrong."
