The embassy clarified that on 19 and 20 January 2026 it dispatched documents via the French postal system (La Poste). Later, on 22 January 2026, the embassy was informed by La Poste of a disruption in their central data system (Une erreur informatique), causing the documents not to be dispatched. The embassy requested La Poste to urgently resolve the issue and to send the documents out on 23 January 2026.
