“Yotsanan” wraps up his campaign in Lopburi, appealing to voters in all 4 districts to choose both him and his party, pledging to turn dreams and hopes into reality. “Nattawut” confidently predicts Pheu Thai will come first and form the government, saying they are not afraid even if some parties distribute gray ballots.
At 14:20 on 27 Jan 2026 GMT+7 at Patan Health Park, Mueang District, Lopburi Province, Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai party’s prime ministerial candidate, and his team arrived to campaign for Mr. Sitthichai Lorprasongsuk, candidate for Lopburi MP District 2. They were warmly welcomed by locals who took photos, tied white scarves, and presented marigold garlands, snack garlands, and monkey doll garlands—the monkey being a symbol of Lopburi Province.
Mr. Yotsanan spoke, “I, Yotsanan, have reported to the people of Lopburi, and Lopburi must be red across the land. Today, unity is essential. I ask for support in all 4 districts to help me work. I come with the hopes and dreams of the people of Lopburi. On 8 February, we are ready to turn those hopes and dreams into reality.” “I have previously done research work in Lopburi and had the chance to stay here. It’s a historic city, a beautiful city, and an agricultural hub. If we get in this time, we will surely transform Lopburi. We must change lives so that no one has debt. We are ready to resolve all debts, including informal debts and debts of the elderly. There will be a 3-year debt moratorium for farmers, a 30% profit guarantee on agricultural products, and comprehensive water management.”
“Currently, Lopburi’s tourism is sluggish due to a lack of stories and narratives. We must enable people and monkeys to coexist. I vow to manage tourism comprehensively for the people of Lopburi. Lopburi must be a clean and safe city. We are ready to continue the SML fund to allow communities to develop further. Therefore, I ask the people to give a chance to the MP candidates in all 4 Lopburi districts and to choose Pheu Thai, which will lead to me becoming prime minister to transform Lopburi.”
At 16:00, Mr. Yotsanan went to Tha Luang District Office in Tha Luang District, Lopburi Province, to campaign for Mr. Worawong Worapanya, candidate for Lopburi MP District 4. Locals presented garlands made of heart-shaped candy with number 9, tamarind garlands, salted egg garlands, rice cracker garlands, and white scarves. Mr. Nattawut Saiyakeua, Pheu Thai campaign assistant, spoke, expressing confidence that Pheu Thai would win first place, form the government, and that Mr. Yotsanan would definitely become prime minister. He urged the voters present to cast their votes decisively and straightforwardly for Mr. Yotsanan as prime minister.
At 17:45, Mr. Yotsanan and his team proceeded to Tong’au Cafe & Restaurant to campaign for Mr. Phon Worapanya, candidate for Lopburi MP District 3, and Mr. Worawong Worapanya, candidate for District 4. The venue was full of people listening to speeches. Mr. Nattawut said he came to bring Mr. Worawong back to the parliament, who had been a strong voice for the people of Lopburi, not only solving human problems but also monkey issues. He urged voters to choose carefully, warning that if they elected a candidate who was then arrested by police, it would be shameful. He encouraged decisive votes for Mr. Worawong, praising the Worapanya family’s long-standing service to Lopburi. He added he was not only supporting Mr. Worawong but also his old friend Mr. Phon Worapanya.
Mr. Nattawut continued that Pheu Thai has never lost votes in Lopburi since the era of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. However, the party is currently weakened after two prime ministers were removed. He wants to negotiate with the Election Commission to allow Pheu Thai to nominate five prime ministerial candidates, fearing that fewer nominees might be insufficient if another removal occurs. He warned that in the last year, rival parties might misuse parliamentary votes to disrupt governance. He urged voters to choose Pheu Thai 100% on both ballots, despite some parties preparing many gray ballots to sweep votes in Lopburi. He said he is not afraid of these tactics.
, Mr. Yotsanan declared, “I announce here that Lopburi is red across the land. No matter where you are, whether here or elsewhere, it does not matter. Pheu Thai is ready to fulfill its policies because our policies serve the people of Lopburi. We will restore a good quality of life for our parents and brothers and sisters. On 8 February, please choose Pheu Thai for both candidates and party. That day is not just election day—it will be the day dreams and hopes change. I ask to be the 33rd prime minister for the people of Lopburi.” ."
